Our Story
Mission
Agrarius’ mission is to transform the global agricultural sector from an extractive to a sustainable economy, while investing in real assets, creating jobs for local rural communities, enhancing food security and creating new innovative sustainable products and practices, contributing to our Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
-
No Poverty: Agrarius funds agriculture businesses in underserved rural areas, creating jobs, increasing incomes for farmers, and stimulating rural economies.
-
No Hunger: By investing in crop and livestock production and innovation, Agrarius improves food availability and supports long-term food security through scalable, efficient farming.
-
Renewable Energy: While not an energy provider, Agrarius promotes climate-smart agriculture, including clean energy use in farming operations and reduced emissions.
-
Responsible Consumption: Agrarius follows a circular economy model, financing sustainable, low-waste agribusinesses and ensuring ESG compliance in its investments.
-
Life Below Water: Through sustainable land and water use practices, Agrarius reduces agricultural runoff, indirectly protecting aquatic ecosystems.
-
Life On Land: Agrarius supports regenerative farming, biodiversity, and climate-resilient crops, ensuring healthy soils and long-term land productivity.
Our investment strategy was built on ESG principles from the ground up. We utilise a proprietary sustainability rating model aligned with the FAO’s global SAFA standards to evaluate the environmental, social, and economic impact of every potential investment.
